November's Relaxation Giveaway!


I am so excited to be able to offer a giveaway with this month's challenge of learning to relax. There are multiple ways to enter, all easy. The giveaway ends on Friday so hurry hurry before you forget. There will be THREE WINNERS!!!

Love the idea of this giveaway! For me a lot my anxiety stems from my heart -- being certain I'm going to drop dead at any moment when it races or skips beats -- so I love the idea of something slow and steady being right there!

Thanks for offering a giveaway! I am finding that exercising when I wake up helps to curb the morning anxiety - I try to do 5-10 push-ups and go for a walk before I let my mind race to things it would like to worry about.

For so many years, the word 'relax' was actually insulting to me. People would say it as if you could do it just by wanting to. And as we know, when you are in the middle of an attack, someone saying 'just relax' can make you want to punch them in the face. But as I've continued to heal, I am finding ways to bring relaxation into my life. At this point, I've been most successful with Zen meditation. I didn't get involved with it for relaxation purposes, but it has had that effect.
