I have some exciting news. I am announcing my very first giveaway on the Reality of Anxiety! This is the first of hopefully many giveaways to come.
I am really excited to announce that one lucky reader can win a free copy of the book The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook by Edmund J. Bourne. As I have said in the past, this book has been the greatest help to me personally in learning to manage my anxiety. The tools found in its pages can bring you so much clarity and peace. I highly recommend it for anyone suffering from any kind of anxiety or fears.

Wow, I hope I win! I would love to have this book.
Okay, I already subscribed, so there's #1 taken care of.
#2 - the biggest help for managing my anxiety lately? There are two, actually, hope that's okay. The first one is repeating to myself, I don't have to be perfect and I'm not loved only because of the work I do, I am valuable in many other ways besides my work. This really helps me when I am too sick to want to move, and most of the time, it even motivates me to want to get up and do a little bit at a time. The other thing is my hand held Tetris game. I take that thing with me everywhere - in the grocery store lines, in the doctor's waiting room, everywhere where I might have to wait for more than a few minutes and the anxiety could start to build. Just knowing it's in my bag helps a ton.
#3 - off to post a new blog right now with a link back here!
This contest is a GREAT idea! The workbook is on my list to buy but I haven't yet, so it would be awesome to win.
The BEST help has been the exercise where you ask yourself what's the worst thing that could happen and how would you deal with it. This simple thing has helped me head off several meltdowns over the last couple of months.
I am about to post a link in my blog, but it's restricted access...sending you an invite so you can see.
Great contest idea. This would surely help your readers out there.
Anyway, this might sound a bit odd but the biggest help for me was when someone pointed out that I may have an anxiety disorder. It all started to go uphill from there.
Hey these are great guys! Thanks so much for your comments.
I forgot to enter! I'm subscribed to your blog through an RSS feed. I use Netvibes to read it.
If I post the giveaway on my sidebar, is it ok?
yep Helene, that works! Thanks for entering!
I forgot to say what helps me the most. It's talking to friends and checking cute pictures of kittens.
This week has been a bad week for me the things that has got me through this week would be My husband, hope and affirmations..
