I Knew it!

With this pregnancy being so different from my first one, I knew I had to be having a boy this time around. My first trimester was pretty awful. Now that I am in my second trimester and the morning sickness is gone and I am getting my energy back, hopefully things will liven up around here. Finding out I am having a boy has only ensured many stressful, gray hairing days to come. Hope all is well with you! Drop me a line and let me know how things are going. Feel free to ask any questions too :)

Congrats! I am so glad that your pregnancy is going well. I have a little girl who is 4 and a little boy who is 2! Boys are wonderful and very active! It is cute to see his big sister always trying to take care of him! : )

Hi Aimee,
I have just started reading your blog ,and find it very reassuring. I have suffered from anxiety/panic/ for10 -12 years now. I have been on and off anti-depressants (paxil, lexapro, zoloft, and back to lexapro) for so long . I have always been somewhat ashamed that I have to take a pill to get though the day, but now know, I must. I went through 2 pregnancies with horrible anxiety the first trimester-then having to take an ssri for the last 5 months. I recently had to switch medciations b/c the last one pooped out, so I am feeling these feelings again (burning arms ,rapid heartbeat, racing thoughts). I am waiting for the new med to kick in, but it's so hard. I have found out that i have a geneti mutation -MTHFR homozygous that causes my body to not process Folic Acid, and B-12. I have to now take , high doses, and have been told this could of been causing a lot of anxiety (the depletion of folic acid and B12). I wonder how many people out there have vitamin deficiencies that make their anxiety worse?
I guess I want to say thank you for your great blog, and sharing your experience. I think it is wonderful that you are pregnant , and wish you a healthy, happy pregnancy
Mary :)
