Mindfulness teaches you to focus on the troubling event, feeling, sensation in your body with the intention of not asking it to change and accepting that this is the feeling I am aware of now. When people do this they are often amazed to see that the stressful feeling immediately starts to change to something else. One way to be mindful is through breathing exercises. We always dealing with some pressure, stress or negativity and always trying different things to get rid of it, i too used to do some the things to make me positive and relax. But I cant keep that in consistently working for me as again negativity surrounds. I can relate when said you...This is a great idea. <br /><br />I can relate when said you just threw everything out after you felt better. Last year I was having bad episodes. Went to doctors and got meds, read alot and even got that book. Things got better so of course sold the book, stopped the meds, relaxed on the diet and exercise<br />Now here I am again and having to relearn everything, going to doctors today.
